Vyacheslav Menzhinsky
Vyacheslav Menzhinsky (1874–1940) was a Russian-Polish statesman and the first Director-General of Temnota, the Russian Imperium’s security agency. A linguist and novelist, he shaped imperial intelligence and repression during the early 20th century, playing a key role in consolidating the Imperium through covert operations, surveillance, and political control.
