The infamous “Rent Boy Killer”, River Murmur was accused and censured with the murder of 14 young men, all under 23, between the years 1999 and 2012. At her trial, she claimed that she was prompted to commit the killings by a voice that sang to her as she slept. Upon her censure, she was committed to Wimahl Psychiatric Institute for the duration of her life.
