Rafael Hemdragoon

A portrait artist of the Empire of Australia, Hemdragoon is most famous for his portraits of Eleanor the Fifteenth, Eleanor the Sixteenth, Eleanor the Seventeenth and his portrait from a likeness of Eleanor the First.

A student of Italian portraiture and art, Hemdragoon spent seventeen years studying painting in Italy with Caravaggio and Giovanni Bellini and his early style was heavily influenced by these painters. Later, he branched out from this style to create a more impressionist style.
