An epoch of Australian history including and between the reigns of Eleanor the Ninth and Eleanor the Fourteenth in which the Empire of Australia was more inwardly focused and less outwardly engaged.
This period saw the internal development of many aspects of the Australian government that exist to this day. These included the division of the Empire into “governed states” each one headed by a Governor who answered to the Empress of Australia directly.
