The Waka-Krangere of Aotearoa is another name for the Waka-Krangere of Australia.
Aotearoa refers to the islands on which the Waka-Krangere of Australia has its capital and which is the seat of its power.
There is a movement in the Waka-Krangere to rename itself the Waka-Krangere of Aotearoa, as some believe this more properly honours the Waka-Krangere and since calling itself the Waka-Krangere of Australia is technically a misnomer based on Eleanor of Aquitaine’s mistaken belief that she had landed in Australia instead of Aotearoa.
Others believe that it is a moot point since the political entity of the Waka-Krangere of Australia controls both the islands of Australia and Aotearoa.
