The Throne of Repose is one of three thrones used by the Empresses of Australia. More comfortable than the Lion’s Head Throne or the Throne of State, it is the throne used by the Empress of Australia in the conduct of her daily business. It was designed to be comfortable in order to make long sitting sessions more tolerable for the Empress.
