A high-concept show, the series was based around the character of Nera, who it is revealed has a rare brain disorder that prevents her from feeling any emotions. In the first episode, she undergoes a medical procedure that restores this ability, but something goes wrong and instead of feeling a normal emotional range everything is suddenly heightened for her beyond what is normal.
