The title Guardian of the Protectorates was first used to describe Eleanor the Fifteenth to commemorate her conquest and subjugation of the Holy Land and what became known as the American Protectorate of the Empire of Australia in Central America. Since that time, the title has been borne by every Empress of Australia.
