The Pørtland Autonomous Government Zone is the area known as the central government district for the Independent Sovereignty of Cascadia. It is overseen by the Overborgmeister of Pørtland. The region enjoys special privileges within the system of Cascadian government.
One of the main central plazas in the city of Pørtland, the Public Sphere is a round with a sunken circle in it surrounded on all sides by tapered seating. It is the location of the Overborgmeister’s Annual Address and where exhibitions of public shaming typically take place before an audience of onlookers.
