The Cascadian Land Reorganization refers to the series of actions taken by the Cascadian Government in 1887 and 1889 to manage the land of the nation. The reorganization eliminated the concept of private property ownership, in favor of a leasing system by which the government owned the land and rented it out to individuals and conglomerations.
The rules of the reorganization eliminated the inheritance of property from one generation to the next and phased out property ownership for conglomerations over a period of 15 years.
The Reorganization is considered one of the largest peaceful transfers of wealth in the history of the world.
